Flexible Flying Time

Flying
time of charter is subjected to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be
changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical
issues
Body Weight
Limitation
·
Each
helicopter can accommodate up-to 6 passengers with total body weight limitation
of 445 kg for 6 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the
passenger if the given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided
at the time of making the booking. In such scenario, we will not be liable to
provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are requested
to share the exact body weight measured on electronic measuring scale. Passengers
with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,500 / - Per Kg. This amount
will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last minute hustle. Passengers whose given
body weight is wrong will be charged INR 3000 /- Per Kg only on the final call
of the pilot else will be de boarded without any refund.
Luggage Weight
·
Only
one small soft bag/ du9le bag weighing a maximum of 5 kg is allowed per passenger
provided the body weight is exactly the same which was provided at the time of booking.
Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited
to be carried in the helicopter.
Flying Schedule
·
Any
of the Dham can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues,
huge rush in the temple and govt. permissions.
Bad Weather
Conditions
·
Flying
in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like
delayed Air Tra9ic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by
Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft,
illness of flying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among
others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience
in case of such scenarios. We strongly advise our passengers to keep one
additional day at hand, over & above the 5N6D period, to avoid
inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad
weather or force majeure scenarios.

Due
to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance there can be amendments in
your itinerary where we can cover either Dodham, Ekdham or Teendham in 1 or 2
days. In most of the situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may
get cancelled.
No Flying
·
In
case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation or
any force majeure scenario we will refund proportionate money after deducting
10% of the total tour cost for the flight preparation & on ground team charges
i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 1 dham then we will refund Proportionate
money subjected to the flying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and
fixed components.
Medical/
Special Condition
·
Heli
Yatra sta9 should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or
Special condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved
with any of the flyers. Heli-Yatra has full rights to de-board the passenger if not
informed at the time of booking.
Airport transfers
·
Transfers
will be provided only on the arrival day at Dehradun and on the last day (6th
Day) of the tour. Any other day drop will be on additional charges.
·
Cab
for Haridwar/ Rishikesh visit will be on additional charges of INR 8000/- Per Cab.
·
You
may have to wait at the airport or helipad meanwhile the cab is coming in-case the
cab get stuck in tra9ic. Also, the cab details will be given to the customer
few hours before the actual arrival time.
Passenger
Grouping
·
In
view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves
the right to shu9le passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for
safe flying in the hills.
·
Therefore,
passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight.
Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey.
Rescheduling
Of Booking
·
Rescheduling
your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to
availability, and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be
permitted only if informed at least 30 days before arrival date. In case
rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then the
booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given
subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

Basis of Refund:
·
Tour
Cost: In-case 03 Dham are completed and 01 Dham is left out then INR 10,000
approx. per person will be refunded back to the passenger. This cost is exclusive
of other expenses (Extra night halt, Extra transfers, or any other extra services
utilized other than the package inclusions).
·
Additional
Services: The cost of additional services provided at any Dham during the tour will
be deducted over & above the refundable Tour Cost.
·
Refund
against an unutilized service will not be done.
COVID-19
Lockdowns, or any National/State Emergency:
·
In
case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets
called-o9 by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there
will be no refunds applicable.
·
However,
passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by Heli Yatra against the advance paid,
which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any of our
helicopter tours or charter services by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.
Cancellation
Policy
·
If
customer wishes to cancel their booking, they have to pay cancellation charges as
mentioned below:
·
Upto
35 Days before the flying date - 40% of the amount In between 0 to 35 days - No Refund
Important
Guidelines
·
As
this is NSOP (Nonscheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed
to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/
night after sunset.
·
In
case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun
by road.
·
If
there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required
there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case
of major part failure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
·
There
can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the
multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
·
On
the last day of the Heli-tour, we will try to depart from Badri as early as
possible so that our group is not stuck in the bad weather scenario. In this
case we may skip the morning breakfast at Badrinath. In case client wants to have
breakfast at Dehradun it will be on an additional cost.
·
Aadhar
Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of flight by all
Indian passengers, and Passport in case of foreign nationals.
·
Any
donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony (except Yamunotri) and porter charges shall
be borne by the passengers.
·
Kedarnath
temple has three base camps i.e., Phata/ Guptkashi/ Sersi. In case of big groups,
flying in di9erent helicopters may land at di9erent base camps on di9erent helipads.
We have to complete the entire yatra as per the group in the same helicopter since
each helicopter has di9erent flying timings and permissions.

At
each dham we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has
to reach out the handlers.
·
Any
extra night halt except this itinerary due to any circumstances will be borne by
the customers and client has to pay the amount on actuals in the hotel directly.
·
No
refund will be initiated in case VIP Darshans are closed by the Mandir Samiti
·
If
client wants to stay at Kedarnath top, he/ she has to sign a declaration stating
that Heli-Yatra is not responsible for any service challenges and emergency situations,
all the arrangements will be done by our crew members but the payment has to be
made by client. Rooms available at Kedar-Top are between INR 12,000-15,000 per room
depending upon the rush and availability.

Any
last minute customization in the itinerary will not be possible as all the logistics
are booked well in advance at the time of booking therefore client needs to update
Heli-Yatra team if there are any

add-ons
required in the package.

Company
has full rights to cancel the booking in case of any emergency situation due to
the current situation of the COVID-19 or any govt. circular.

At
Yamunotri, in case the palki is not available we may arrange pony for the same.

No
special poojas are included in this package, if guest wants to perform any special
pooja they have to inform our team in advance and additional payment for the same
is to be paid on actuals in cash.
·
VIP
Darshans at Kedarnath is just the VIP entry inside the temple, darshans will be
done as per the Government & Kedar-Badri Mandir Samiti’s SOPs.
